Default Patriot 'gold' spring kit question

Anyone know if machining is required w/ 5.3 heads.

I installed Patriot Gold Springs onto stock LS1 heads without doing any machine work. However, I don't know about the 5.3 heads.

no maching required on any stock style LS1 heads(5.3, 5.7, 6.0), we have used boat loads of these springs.

you might want to double check you installed heights while you're in there
