F15 vs. MS3 Debate
I am debating whether to order myself the MS3 or the FM15. This will likely be a holiday gift to myself. With whatever cam i get i will be also ordering the PRC Cam Components. I just wanted to know what some people thought about these cams. I have used the search and pull basically the same posts concerning the cams. Are these cams in a way identical to each other power and power curve wise, or are they totally different. My cars a 2000 WS6 M6. Mods are in my sig. Any opinions you guys can throw in would be great. This car is my daily driver but i want something with some crazy power and that will run awesome at the track.
Thanks

I went with the MS3 over the F15 myself.
Heard to many negative things about the F15 I guess; a lot of people say that it does not put down that great of numbers.
But then again there is a guy on here who put down some pretty damn impressive numbers with it.
MS3 just seemed like the better choice to me.

But don't huge cams like these make you lose alittle bit of your low end, so isn't it good that the F15 gives you some low end to go with some top end power?

Here is the thread. The pics of the graph are down for some reason, I can't attach them right now because they are on my PC at home.

my ms3 made more tq over my stock cam the whole way, averaging from 2500 rpms and up between 30-40rwtq. It doesn't have the best low end performance but it hauls up top.

How far does the MS3 make power to? I know on the Futral site they say the F15 rides all the way to 7200rpm. Yet the dyno graphs i have seen of the F15 don't go that high. I don't mind going up to 6700rpm, but i don't know about going any farther than that.

I would think the MS3 would work fine with a LS6 intake and heads. That is what I was gonna do but I talked to the Zach at TSP and decided I wanted more bottom end for the street so I used the Torquer 2 with my LS6 heads and intake.

All I can say is that I really like my MS3. Car runs great and I'm still amazed at the drivablity of the cam, it's awesome and TSP is great to deal with too.
BTW: I'm running it with an LS6 intake, I have no idea what the car makes for power but it seems to do alright.

CRL01SS is running the MS3 with stock heads, full bolt ons and the ls6 intake/ported tb on his 01 6spd SS.. He dyno'd just over 400rwhp with a 9in rearend and 315/35's..
Thats pretty good in my opinion...

That is pretty good. As stated it is my daily driver but i don't mind running a huge cam. And i will be getting a tune soon after the installation. Just i like the power the MS3 is making but i haven't seen that many track times. Can anyone help with that?

What RPM are you guys shifting the MS3 at? I'm considering looking into a cam swap in the near future when I put my LS6 intake on and the MS3 seems to be the logical step to a "big boy" cam without giving up driveability. Car has 4000 RPM stall and 3.42 gears.

I think that he might have said something about "driveablity".... But I would DD a t-rex no problem. It is all in your personal tolerance range.
