What is your opinion on the first cam bearing pictured below? It is a Clevite with 6k miles.

Is the bearing always that much thinner than the bore? Im not sure about clevite bearings, but the stock cam bearings routinely show lots of wear, but dont present any real problems. If its rough, it might be worn out, but if its still smooth, youre probably okay.

It is still smooth and the cam looks perfect...

I'd tend to say it's fine, just normal wear. Especially since the cam is smooth and shows no wear.

Cam bearing looks OK to me but what I find interesting is the lifter bore on the right side of this pic. Doesn't appear to be perfectly cylindrical!

Looks like someone drug the cam lobes over the bearing in the first pic.....
