Wrist pin instersecting with the oil ring-Thoughts?
I am going to be doing a 408 or larger and I was concerned about this issue. I think every piston for this many cubes is going to run the oil ring into the wrist pin. My buddy had a 347 ford engine and he had more problems with blow by then anything else. What are guys using for the oil ring on these engines? Gapless?? What is the trick to not have blow by and how can you run high boost and get away with it? Is there a trick in the installation process?? His isssues have me a little freaked out about running this setup..
