Default Amsoil Filter doesn't fit?

I tried to change my oil tonight, was switching from an m1-206 filter to the amsoil Ea032 filter which is SUPPOSED to be the right part #. Well it doesn't fit.

Proof to show both filters' labels

Mobil 1 Filter

Amsoil Filter

I am insane here? I checked the website again and Ea032 is the part number that comes up. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

LOL, looks like we all won't be getting the amsoil filters until they fix that f'up. Go for the Mobil 1 filter once again, they really are an awesome filter...

Regards,
Adrian

I think it was just a mislabeling of the part numbers somewhere down the line...

A new filter that I'm sure will fit (longer Silverado one) has been sent.

Mobil 1 filters are far too restrictive for our engines, go for the HP-2006 K&N filter (for 5.3 truck engine but fits our 5.7 perfectly and allows 6 full quarts of oil)

Do a search for posts on Mobil 1 filters, Patman has done a lot of testing on them and oil analysis has shown the K&N's superiority.

Only the best for our cars
