Dart Heads- Anyone running them yet
Hi Guys,
I'm in the market for a set of heads after the holidays and wanted to know if anyone has run the new Dart castings in the 1/4. And what kind of power there putting to the wheel as cast and ported with a given combo. Is it to early for this info? I like AFR's and ETP heads but if i can come close with the Darts and save some money, I'll put it to use somewhere else in the car.
Thanks
John

Too early to tell.
I have a set of 225's going on an engine rebuild, but it will be hard to tell what the heads alone add or retract from this setup. (Too many changes)
Give it some time

He works for Wheel-to-Wheel and he posted his findings from thier engine dyno vs. ported 5.3 castings recently. Those are the only results I have seen. I havent seen anyone post track times yet.

We have them in stock & I posted the flow sheets in a dart specific post in the internal section They seem pretty nice & with a little cnc work they should really flow great!

Thanks Guys, I'm going to put heads on in mid January, so hopefully by then there will be more info. so I can make a decision. I'm looking for the best bang for the buck and it would be really sweet if these heads work well. I know AFR's are the cream but if i can make somewhat comparable power with the Darts I'm in..
