Default pulling ls1 motor from top?

I have pulled my lt1 from top and was much easier,ive got a ls1 to pull is it just as easy?both from camaro

yep. It doesn't take much time at all, hour if you know what you're doing.

It's easy. We have p[ulled them from the top and bottom. Just pulled mine from the top with no heads and intake. It took about 5 min once the block was stripped.

You can take the whole thing out from the top. You don't have to strip the block to do it.

from the looks of it i can probrably pull the intake for safety and extra clearance and pull it up out of there.I am a much bigger fan of pulling the engine from the top.

I pulled mine from the top, when it goes back in, I will leave the manifold off. Other than that, no biggie. I left the TH400 connected as well.

Not to hi-jack anyones thread but can you dive it in there with tranny and motor together? That would be much easier.

I pulled mine out the top and put it in from the bottom. Yea I know, I'm weird. I don't see why you couldn't stab both the tranny and engine together from top. I know you can from the bottom.

You have to get it way high in the air. We put on the tranny after. Judging by this pic it's too tight to fit the intake on too.
