Diamond Pistons use Metric or English Sized Rings?
I am trying to figure out what size rings I need for my Diamond custom pistons. I measured the three ringlands and here's what I got...
Top: .061 (1.55mm)
Second: .061 (1.55mm)
Bottom: .150 (3.81mm)
I'm guessing I want metric rings, 1.5mm, 1.5mm, 3mm...? But isnt the bottom ringland supposed to be around 3mm? 0.81mm is quite a bit of play. Thanks!

The oil ring land will measure larger due to the required support rail for the short compression height of the pistons (4.00" stroke, 6.125" rods, most likely). But yes, you do need 1.5/1.5/3mm ring package in your bore size.
