Default Futral cam choice and TRcam 230/224 sale or trade

I have a 99 c5 mn6 with mild ported z06 heads and 918 springs. Tpis long tubes and Shaner TB. ls6 intake,ect. I like the f12, f13 and f14 cams on a 112. I am looking for no more than 420rwhp and doing this at around 6800rpm. I would to install a cam that has good torq numbers also. I am not sold on Futral cams but do like the specs I see on their site. What do you think?

Also I cant post in the 4sale section yet(new?) so here it is. A 99-TR230/224-111 Thunder Racing Custom "Reverse Split" Camshaft for $225 shipped. You can here it on ls1sounds.com and see a dyno graph on thunders site. It sounds killer! I am going a bit bigger on lift and duration due to the ported heads I bought. I can send a pic if needed. It was installed and removed by a certified LS1 mech/shop, car went back to stock for trade in. Everything looks great as far as wear patterns. I need $225 shipped for it Steve PAYPAL memeber

99-TR230/224-111 Thunder Racing Custom "Reverse Split" Camshaft - 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA 2200-6800 RPM Power Band. Excellent mid-range & high RPM power. Automatic cars require computer tuning and it is recommend for optimum results on manual transmission cars . Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended.

I used the search and found lots of info on the 3 cams and it looks like I need the 14. I will check other brands now. Still have the cam 4sale. cya

Well, I just recently completed the F14 install in my 01 Z06. The car put down 423 hp and 408 tq to the rear wheels. The mods on the car are the following: LGM Headers, B&B bullet catback, Halltech stinger air cleaner, ASP underdrive pulley, Ported TB, F14 cam on 112+4, and the tune by Allan Futral. If you want to see the graphs and cam card go to the Dyno section and look for the f14 cam in bolt on Z06 post. The cam is tuned so drivablilty has not changed at all. I can lug the car around at 1000 - 1100 rpms in any gear and it only idles 80 rpms higher than stock.

What springs are you running? I have 918's and want to use a cam like the f14.

Wait so the car went back to stock for trade-in but you are now buying new heads/cam for it?

Default tr cam

I bought the cam from a shop that pulled it from a f body for a customer. I have a 99 c5 hardtop that I am putting on heads and a cam. I wanted to use the Tr reverse cam but after talking to my tuner I need to go with something like a f13 or f14. So its is for sale! You know how this cam shopping is Steve
