Default cam install suggestions

i have a 2000 camaro ss with 70,000 miles on it with just bolt ons right now and i am looking to get a magic stick v3 installed in it. if i purchase the install kit from tsp which includes Camshaft, Comp PRC Spring Kit, and Hardened Chromoly Pushrods, what else do i need to get besides a good tune? thanks

nothing really , maybe a new timing chain and a new oil pump, it could be cheap insurance, or some new spark plugs if they're old, you might new some new gaskets, timing cover gasket, new crank bolt, etc...

LS2 or Rollmater timing chain. Ported LS6 oil pump etc...

What SSTYCOON said basically.

Also some basic tools to do the swap. You need some pen magnets or lifter rods to keep the lifters from falling. You also need a pulley puller and a deep well 24mm 6point socket to remove the bolt. And like the others said, ls2 chain is good, oil pump, and a basic cam bolt and gasket kit which you can guy from TSP as well.

that is a very good deal i ordered mine the other day. but i would suggest a ls2 chain, ported ls6 pump, oring, w/p gaskets, front cover gasket, front cover seal, new plugs, and 6 qts oil and filter. all the correct tools such as a pulley puller, 5/16" dowel rods, and such.

do i need to get the whole timing kit or just the chain? thanks
