Default harmonic balancer mounting bolt re-usable?

It looks visually similar to the one use only head bolts. This is the bolt that secures the harmonic balancer wheel to the crank snout.

It is torque to yield. (not re-usable)

Begs another question.

I see that there is no keyway on the balancer, and I can't imagine the factory balances individual components together while assembling thousands of engines. Not to mention how would a person know how to install an aftermarket balancer.

Does this suggest that the clocking position of the balancer relative to the crank is not critical?

You are correct in that assumption!

However, I really wish GM would put a freaking key in, but that would cost 1 cent more per engine.
