Unhappy Oil pick up tube

Ok Im trying to get the bolt to the oil pickup tube to go into the oil pump, with the oil pan still half *** on the car. There is no way I can get a tool on the bolt head and I keep droping it in the oil pan. Does anybody think it would be alright if I put some kind of sticky grease on the tip of bolt so it would stick the hole, as Im trying to thread it in. I just want to know if any kind grease inside the oil pan would be harmful to the motor? Or if anybody has any tips or tricks for getting the oil pickup bolt in. Thanks

use a 10mm ratcheting wrench. put the bolt in the wrench and you can usually get it started like that. make sure you have a rag in there in case you drop the bolt.
