Default my mods..cam recommendations

i know this soubject has probably been beaten to death...but im on a VERY serious budget..house,wife,kid..and im going to list all my mods..and plead for your help..everybodys help in pickin a cam that will get me to 380-400 hp ish..and what other stuff besides a cam i will need..here goes..and i apologise if im kickin a dead horse...SPONSORS FEEL FREE TO RECOMMEND PKGS!!!!!

We have our packages still on special for a few more days... You might look into the Torquer 2 232/234 .595/.598 on a 113 or 114. Both should idle & drive really nice while gaining 50rwhp

Default Spring life?

Not to hijak, but what kind of valve spring life expectany can u get with cams that large, my car is my only car, and I am lookin into a cam, and swapping for duals sometime very soon. thanks,just don't wanna have to swap springs every year or whatever.

I second this cam. I have the Comp Cam version on a 112LSA. Rougher idle, picked up right around 50 rwhp with the stock ls1 intake still on.

A set of PRC or Patriot duals should give you a couple years worth of peace of mind. You should check them at periodic intervals. Comp 921's may buy you even more peace of mind. Either way, it's hard to say exactly how long.
