TSP 231/237 uses Lunati lobes, much less aggressive than the Comp XE-R lobes.
The Lunati lobes come on real hard at the upper mid/ high rev range, with some sacrifice to low end.
The Lunati lobes are very valvetrain friendly. You can use Comp 918's with them no problem.
Difference of the TSP 231/237 from .050 to .006 is 58/62 (intake/exhaust), far from the 49 range of XE-R, and more like XE (or even lazier still).

The Comp grind may exhibit more drivability and more low end while retaining the upper end at the expense of valvetrain stress.

Just check a couple of your springs after 18 months or so to see how they're doing.
