This double-roller timing-chain set is a perfect complement to any high-performance camshafts and other LS1/LS6 engine components. It offers greatly enhanced strength and accuracy compared with the stock piece and even allows for timing adjustments (advance or retard) of up to 8 degrees. The set contains an adjustable, nine-keyway nitrated crankshaft sprocket; a double-row chain; a nitrated camshaft sprocket; two oil-pump-spacer plates; and all necessary installation hardware. Compatible with all 1997-03 "Gen III" engines (LS1/LS6, 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L). All JP Performance Timing Chain Sets are supplied with inductioned hardened and multiple keyway crank sprockets (which have the keyways index marked for easier timing) and balanced camshaft sprockets and a true roller timing chain. Also all sets for engines without factory fitted thrust plates (i.e. Chev V8's and Chrysler big block V8's) are machined with a reverse oiler groove. For those that require a Torrington bearing fitted (such as race engines) then we also have them available. Sets fitted with the Torrington bearing are marked 'T'. The LS1 sets do come fitted with the Torrington bearing supplied with the set . Yes , it will work on the 04 gto , it is an LS1 . For the LS2 gto , you will need the LS2 set which is $129 . Shipping is $9.95 anywhere in the US .

I sent out emails to all who are waiting for LS2 sets , this post is not about the LS2 sets . The LS2 sets are due in anyday now , as soon as it was announced on the internet that we had them in stock , we ran out within 24 hours . The stock order coming in will be more than enough to fill the backorders , sorry for the delay on that . As far as the LS1 sets , we have PLENTY in stock and all orders will ship the same day as ordered .

As of today, January 27th, all LS2 timing set orders have been filled, and have upgraded shipping to try and make up for the lost time. Sorry for the wait guys. We ran out so fast when we first got them but now we have a bunch more in stock to hopefully last us awhile.

This is what bothered me the most. I've recieved no e-mails about anything, nor were my e-mails replied to. I ordered my chain 30 minutes after you made the post and did not recieve a chain. However, the guy in the post that ordered 3 hours after me got one. I was also charged immediatlly for the chain. If something was on back order, I was under the impression that you weren't charged until that item came in. Not to mention that there was no record of me ordering a chain when I called the other day. I'm not upset about not recieving the chain on time, but more or less aggrivated about the lack of communication. If the order was lost or something happened, that's fine, just tell me. Otherwise, none of the stuff you said in the above pertains to me, and it's some what annoying.

OK , that is in regards to an LS2 set when they were on backorder , you now have had your LS2 timings set , if you do not get an email response , that means for some reason we probably didn't get the email , then you can feel free to call us , ask for Mike if you want and I will personally take care of whatever you need . Everything is now in stock and same day shipping as ordered .
