Head/Cam Install Hey,
I am considering a head/cam pkg for the spring (Have to stay ahead of a friend who is getting a 04 Cobra). Been reading up. Seems like AFR is the way to go and worth the money. Not sure what cam to go with it. I need something that is lopey (cause it sounds awesome) and soemthing that holds a flat tourque curve. Don't want a peak HP car only. What kind of RWHP/TRQ am I looking at?
And if I got a shop to do just a cam install, how long am I looking for labour?
How much "extra things" are needed for a heads/cam change?
Does the engine stay in the car for the install?
I will be having a shop do everything plus a re-tune.

First thing to consider is:
Budget
You'll have to get:
Heads
Cam
P-rods
Gasket & Bolt kit
Clutch
Tune
Install $$
Missaleneous (fluids, oil filter, timing chain, oil pump)
Ballpark you are looking at 4000>4500 $$
