No it is a LSx

LS1 is a 5.7L from factory, it is a code for the type of block.

Yes, valvetrain, peripherals (intake, TB etc..)
BTW LSx is a general term for all LS series motors (4.8/5.3/5.7/6.0/7.0 and any stroker in between)
