F14 Owners: Which Lifters & Rev Limit on Stock Bottom End?
I'm only replacing the rod bolts (Katech) with the head & cam swap. Did you keep stock lifters or get Comp R's (or other)? How high is anyone spinning stock bottom end with just a lifter and rod bolt upgrade?
I was thinking of setting the rev limit at 6,600, and shifting the T56 around 6400... Also, I was thinking of setting the Spray to go off at 6200.
Will I have the worst of both worlds: Blow it up and miss the high HP of the F14?
I don't want to go forged until i can afford a whole stroker kit.
[EDIT] I'm upgrading the injectors (highest flowing going on #7) and fuel pump with the TNT F1 Wet (100) Shot.

The stock lifters should be fine unless you have very high mile on them. If you want to change them Comp 850-16 will be enough.
I would set the limiter at 6900 and shift at 6600 NA (and that is conservative).
You can shift a little sooner on Nitrous.
Otherwise you do not need this cam, pick FM11 112 instead.
The point of having a big cam is to use the upper rpm band, otherwise why bother.
