Default To buy or not to buy......

Should I take the opportunity of 10% to buy the cam kit from Thunder Racing TODAY, or wait and do a heads and cam kit??? Or buy the heads late when I can get a good deal on them, if I buy the kit, I'd just need bare heads or have my LS1's ported......what should I do???? Was going to go w/ the TREX.....will it work on stock heads?? HELP

If I was you I'd go with the tr230/224. Trex isnt the end all be all and the tr230/224 posts great numbers and has a very broad torque curve all without having to rev to 7k rpms. I say go for it and add some heads down the road!

Well, I'm sure they will have sales again. Don't buy it if you're not sure and end up being one of those guys that has to resell a new cam for a used price because you didn't pick the right one.

Good idea, I've been thinking about this for a while and I called them a min. ago and talked to a tech guy.....needless to say he changed my mind. I'm gonna do some more research b4 I end up going and buying it......and like you said they'll have a sale again.....He said unless I was going all out drag, the TREX would be useless for street/strip

Defentially a better cam for a streetcar.
The Rev Split can work well with the right setup.
Not my favorite cam choice but one that have worked well and proven itsself.
