Default GMPP ls6 cnc head flow #'s

Well search is not working. Does anyone have the flow #'s for the GMPP cnc'd LS6 heads handy. I am interested in comparing them to the current heads offered by a couple of sponsers.

Thanks!

Unless your talking about different heads which you might be.
However I think LPE and the GMPP heads are the same.
If I am wrong however which wouldn't be the first time then at least you have the flow numbers for the LPE heads.

Thumbs up from SDPC's catalog..

.100 66 55
.200 140 112
.300 214 163
.400 261 192
.500 292 213
.550 296 214
.600 288 218

for the 60cc version

awesome mid lift numbers. I was thinking about getting a set myself, but probably will go the budget route... Texas Speed is offering some ported LS6 heads that somewhat close to these... but $850 a pair!

I've noticed that the flow numbers are lower than earlier GMPP heads. I don't
know if this is because of revised #'s or a different porter is doing the heads.

yeah, there's 3 different sets of numbers listed in this thread.

The SDPC catalog says their numbers are from their own flow testing on an SF 1020.

LPE cuts through the head to access various portions of the runner and is rewelded. its not your "standard" port job

Any opinions as to how the gmpp heads compare to the new Patriot LS6 cnc, the Livernois CNC LS6 or the PRC LS6 heads sold by Texas Speed??

All of these heads are half of the cost of the GMPP heads

If you put a valve job in them like what they were designed with they are pretty good heads. Problem with them is that GM changed the VJ from what the port was based around and took a easy 20cfm off the top end flow.... too bad.

Jerami is right. The GMPP heads have a intake runner volume of around 246cc. We have our 243 CNC ported castings availabe for as low as $845.00 per pair. Our intake runner volume will be 227cc +/- and here are some flow numbers fron 1020 Superflow on a 3.905" bore, using a clay radius, with 2.00"/1.55" valves:

.100" 75 / 62
.200" 154 / 121
.300" 215 / 165
.400" 254 / 200
.500" 285 / 217
.550" 292 / 221
.600" 301 / 226

Below are the different versions we have of these heads:

New Factory 243 Patriot CNC ported bare heads: These will be new 243 GM castings that are CNC ported with our stage II program and have our five angle valve job. The combustion chambers will be 64cc and extra milling is available at no extra charge. These heads will be bare with no valvetrain.
Pricing is $845.00 per pair, no exchange.

New Factory 243 Patriot CNC ported heads with Ferrea valves: These will be new 243 GM castings that are CNC ported with our stage II program and have our five angle valve job. The combustion chambers will be 64cc and extra milling is available at no extra charge. These heads will be fitted with Ferrea 6000 series 2.02"/1.57" stainless valves. No springs will come with this particular option.

how much do the 2.02/1.57 valves add to the flow numbers compared to stock sized valves? With porting and valve cutting being at the same degree of work.

The 2.02"/1.57" valves will add 3-7cfm through out the range.
