Tsp 231/231
Remember that cam? It was dropped from their website some time ago.
I bet it would make for a fine roadracing cam.
Lunati lobes, not too aggressive (.006-.050=58 I think, assuming the 231 is the same as the one used on the intake of the 231/237), should be good for sustained high revs and should be valvetrain firendly. Single pattern for better tq than the large split of the 231/237. Just enough duration for great power. Good lift.
Wasn't it 231/231 .598/.598 112?
Anyhow, I called TSP today and they said it's still available, as well as any Lunati grind they/I/we can come up with is available.
Just a thought.

I think my concerns for high engine speeds would be more along the lines of stock lifters and rocker arms. While I don't like the aluminum rockers that have a lot of weight over the valve, there are a few steel rocker arms out that seem to minimize that weight. On the lifters, I just don't trust them for anything other than mild builds or stock cams. Seen too many die from just a stiffer spring swap.
A good spring and lightweight ti retainer can handle the XER lobes just fine though. I've used 918 springs in some crazy stuff before and they always held up fine (mine have almost 60K miles with .610" lift) . The double springs have been doing very well, and have proved themselves numerous times also.

As soons as I'm back at work, I'll actually have the funds to put together one of these setup combos.

I'll be looking forward to your results. I very interested to see how much more AFR's can produce compared to my Patriots.
