Default Cam with slight rust on it....any good?

Seen a used cam for sale, wasn't stored properly and had some slight rust on it, nothing major only in one spot. Would that affect the performance of the cam? Should I stay away from it or it it usable?

if it's just light surface rust, that can be polished right off. Just make sure it's not too deep or pitted.
