do a 160 if you want. i have it in my car and have the fan on/off settings changed to suit the new stat.. my heat works great, idk why people say if you want heat dont get a 160* stat. one thing i am a little upset with is that when i have hp tuners monitoring the car the ECT is around 170 but my gauge says 210???

I was told that GM changed the gages after 98 cause they were afraid the movement of the temp would cause their cutomers to worry. NO faith in us i guess

the 99-02 gauge only reads either 210 or overheat basically, only the 98 is made to sweep like a normal gauge.
