Default 408 Add comp, Retard cam

Ok, i have decided to mill my AFR 225's to 66cc from the 69 there at now to give more compression for my large cam. Now when i ordered my cam it was supposed to be on a 112lsa w/ 2* advance ground in but it came as a 112 w/ 4* advanced. So my ? is i think i should go back in and retard my cam to run on the 112 + 0 I think that with the added comp i will not lose down low and should pick up a nice gain up top. Any idea's Thanks Shawn

Did you go dot to dot on the cam install?

It won't necessarily pick up power on top but it will spin further that's for sure.
How about some durations so we can see the VEs?
Also milling your heads more will loose flow #s, why don't you run a thinner gasket to achieve same goal.

Cam is installed dot to dot. Cam spec's are 253/257 643-645 112lsa w/ 4 degree's ground in. As of now it has .041 gaskets.

IVC goes from 54.5 (+4) to 58.5 on a 112+0.
How much do you plan on spinning that thing?
I think I would run it on 54.5 IVC and bring the power earlier on.
