Default Patriot Kids speak up!

I have my tax money in hand, looking at getting a nice DD head/cam package for my A4 Z28, mods in sig. Let me know what works/doesn't.

You might want to look into the new PRC Dart heads. Check this section and the thread should be on the first page.

I know of several people that have the LS1 Stage II 5.3 Heads with 98 and 99 C5 (A4) that are running 2;73 and no TC and are hauling azz. I was told by charlie at A&A that you do not necessarily need one with mild cams in the 220 range. That may be the difference though!

I ran Patriot Stage II LS6 heads, F13 cam, 3500 stall, & 3.73's. It was a nice combo, ran real strong. Never got to get it to the track but it pulled like mad. I would highly suggest this setup.

Gunnar what about a price with that setup and a mild DD cam shipped? I'm at the point were I want to get the most out of it but still make it to work and back everyday. I'm lookin at all of my opinions and the budget. I still have to get the torque converter in and the car tuned after I spend the loot on the heads/cam and install, I know there will be hidden costs in that.

What is the difference in these heads and the Patriot performance stage 2 ls6 heads?

This is an extremely retarded question, but I am extremely retarded so it'a okay.

I always see people mention 5.3 heads and don't know what they are talking about. Are they larger and therefore reducing your volume giving you 0.4 less liters? I know I am probably way wrong but that is always what I picture when people mention 5.3 heads.
