This cam is extremely streetable, and there are a lot of people on this board that run it. I have never had any personal experience with it, but it should idle good with a 114, and work extremely well in a daily driver. There are people on here that have seen 400 + HP with this cam and a set of heads. The closest i had to this cam was a 228/232 on a 110, and it was still extremely streetable.
Get the cam and enjoy!

Im using that cam now...Its concidered mild/moderate, definetly not huge.
I like the cam alot, and do not plan on swapping it out for anything larger, for me, its perfect.
I have fuill bolts ons, headers, ect. Also a 383 block helps a bit too :-)
Cam runs good without a dynotune, better with one.

i'm running that cam but on a 112lsa. its in my daily driver and i have no driveability issues at all. i made awesome power thanks to a kick *** tune by gomer. but i'll be swapping to a futral fm13 soon. i should have listened to the masses when they said go big the first time. but i have absolutely no complaints with this one.

i had that cam. it's nice,no problems driving around town and will make about 20- 25(ish)hp over a stock cam.however you should look into something bigger,a bigger cam like a 228/232 and lift in the area of 580ish 114 lob will drive just as nice with no problems but give you another 8 to 12 hp over the 224 cam. tunning has come along way and the bigger cams drive as nice as stock. goodluck to ya bro.

I have a 224/228 581/588 114+2
I'm very happy with the cam. I was concerned about driveability, so I went with a "baby" cam. In retrospect, I wouldn't mind going a size or two bigger. I'm really tempted to go to a 232/236, but then I have to change springs yada yada. For right now, I'll just enjoy the 410 rwhp/388 rwtq. The TSP LS6 heads will be going on this week. Hopefully I'll pickup like 20 rwhp.

I have 225/.580 114, and wouldn't have it any other way. Haven't had it dyno'd and haven't finished tuning, but it's very streetable and is pretty mild compared to alot of the new cams out now.
