Unhappy tr224 shift point

do anybody whats the best rpm to shift this cam at
i shift at 6400 rpm

6600 worked best for me.....

only way to really know is from a dyno graph and track times. i used to shift at 6700 then i got dyno'd and by looking at the graph i moved down to 6300.

and i have a MTI C2 cam, which is almost the same as a TR 224

6800 for me. Mine was still pulling hard up to 6600 and I run it just over peak before I shift.

I would shift it around 6800, it will help keeping you in your power band in the next gear. Go to TNT & try it if you don't make any gain's then lower it back down.
