Default I cracked my timing cover? Need input please

I was removing my pulley and cracked my timing cover a bit. Is it still good or will it need to be replaced?

Also, HOW DO I GET THAT DAMN PULLEY OFF.
I used the 3 arm pulley puller and it came off a little bit. Now I can't seem to get the rest of it moving.

JB Weld!!!!!

make sure the pulley isn't cocked on the snout. it should come off. otherwise you'll need your blue wrench.

you have to make sure that your crank bolt isn't preventing it from coming off more. Also you need the 6" version or the pulley puller, makes life much easier

If you know someone that can weld aluminum they can prolly weld it for you, and the puller prolly needs to be aligned stright make sure the three bolts align with each other.

Default two piece timing cover

There's a guy on the corvetteforum that sells timing covers that he cuts in two, then rewelds so that you can change cams without pulling the damper...fyi.

That gives me a warm, fuzzy, tingling feeling inside.

TSP roxxors.

Keep at it with the pulley puller. If it has moved a little bit, you've already got the hard part done!

Use a large allen head cap screw to buck the 3 leg puller rod up against NOT the crank bolt.
