Default removing oil cap tube on pass side valvecover

How do you go about this? I want to see if the oil cap for the LS7 will fit in the valve cover, so I can run the FRC w/o cutting it.

You are going to have to buy a new tube, they are a one time use. There is a locking tab down inside, in order to release it it takes a bit of work and it is more than likely going to brake. The tube is only $6.00-$8.00 at the dealer, I dont know the part number off hand but I think it is in the thread with the part #'s and info.

Does anyone know if a screw on cap type will fit it? Any pics of the inside?

The stock cap off the tube will go on the cover directly once you remove the tube.

Look inside the tube & you will see a tab, gently pull it toward the inside with an ice pic then turn the tube counter clockwise. I re-used mine.
