removing oil cap tube on pass side valvecover How do you go about this? I want to see if the oil cap for the LS7 will fit in the valve cover, so I can run the FRC w/o cutting it.

You are going to have to buy a new tube, they are a one time use. There is a locking tab down inside, in order to release it it takes a bit of work and it is more than likely going to brake. The tube is only $6.00-$8.00 at the dealer, I dont know the part number off hand but I think it is in the thread with the part #'s and info.

mine used to fall out when taking the oil cap out...The other night, when installing headers, i needed the damn thing off and it wouldn't budge...So i took off the whole valve cover
