Default Any1 running a Cartek cam?????

I never really heard alot about Cartek, but it looks like they have some pretty good performing cams, is it worth the money. Anyone running any of their cams or heard anything about them , let me know.

I used to have there 218 cam in my car. It made great power and nice torque. Then I went to a bigger cam and heads.

Yes, their cams make great power while still retaining excellent street driveability in most cases.

To further this thread, I've recently picked up a 2x cam... anyone else out there running one? Like the results? What kind of power did it put down? Hope in hell of passing emissions? I've got emissions to worry about up here.. it sucks.

I've had their 2x and 3x cam and about to get a newer version of the 3x. They put ALOT of work into their cams, which can be seen by the times these cars are running and are some of the best you can buy hands down. Their 2x drove like stock and made excellent power everywhere awesome DD cam. Than I switched to their 3x H&C setup, despite what some might say it was perfectly streetable and made insane power from 3500 to 6900. Check out their website at www.Cartek.net or call Dave at 908-317-4496.

I had this cam but recently sold it. The results are great, it put down 390 RWHP and 361FTLBS w/ headers, ORY, Borla, airlid through a M6 nitrous ready steel driveshaft 12 bolt w/ 4.11's. As far as emissions go I have no idea.

I'm doing a Cartek 2X H/C setup in a week (Cam is actually just below a 2X, 114LSA 224/228), I'll post up results. The shop I get all my stuff done at is an LS1 shop (see link in my sig). 99% of the C5s there have a cartek H/C and all put down ~440rwhp, not sure about torque.

I have the cartek 2x h/c and I'm telling you it's amazing.... it pulls harder than hell, and has a nice and flat tourque curve. It just keeps pulling forever... I hate shifting but as soon as I shift I get to start all over again lol, it's a monster, and it drives IDENTICAL TO STOCK!
