Default Who can port a FAST 90 intake to match AFR 225's?

Is there anyone who is expert at porting a FAST 90 mm intake with 225 AFR heads for a FI (turbo) setup?

Thanks!

Tony @ AFR ports 90's, so I'm sure he'd know how to do it for his own heads.

I think Futral does it too. But I hear that Mamo is top notch.

If you have a dremel you can do it yourself. It make a ton of black plastic dust, but you can do it very easilly.

Tony is definitely the best and yes he definitely does it. Just give him a call at AFR 818-890-0616 ext 109. I will let him give you the price.

I hear Tony charges $500, very steep IMO. TEA port matched mine to my 1.5s for $85.

He charges $450 for a new one, and $470 for a used one (oil makes it messier, harder to do)

Guys...

Thought I would chime in here quickly....

Obviously I have helped a few forum members with modifying their FAST intakes to mimic the manifold work I performed on my own intake that you have seen the results on both my 346, and of late, the 383 build up which I will be sharing chassis dyno results with you soon (the 383 made excellent power on an engine dyno as most of you probably recall from a few months ago).

Most of these jobs were forum members and private individuals that sought me out to do the work to their manifold. The modifications I perform to the FAST is more involved (and time consuming) than a port match implies and I will simply leave it at that. Also, the execution of the work is very neat and consistant from one port to the next (once again...time consuming). Price is all relative to the finished goods you received....to date, no one has been disappointed with the quality and end results of the work performed. There are plenty of other sponsors, porters, etc. that can help most of you port match your intake for alot less money that may provide close or similar results, but might miss the mark by a few or more HP as well.

Jrod, who is very well respected on this board and others, had this to say in a recent thread which I am simply copying and pasting a paragragh from one of his trademark long and very informative "J-Rod style" posts (sorry J....LOL)

[QUOTE]Anyhow, Tony provided us witha set of milled 205's and a "Mamo-fied" FAST intake. The plan was to do a A-B swap on the car with no changes other than heads and observe the delta. Let me just say that Tony does a fantastic job on the FAST intake. He fixes some of the current issues with the manifold, and when you look up the port you can certainly see he's been busy up in there. When you compare the differences to an out of the box FAST 90 the differences are glaring. Tony also has a nice hand, as the cosmetic side of his hand finished stuff really looks nice. While being pretty isn't always important, its certainly nice to see someone take real pride in their work.[QUOTE]

My primary focus during my time here (on LS1 Tech and other boards) is to provide information and customer support, and obviously try to encourage you to buy AFR products by explaining how they can benefit you, but like any product, the right complimenting components can really add to the final results.

Thanks,
Tony M.
