Default Newbie Question

Well I have a small annoying knocking sound when I am in a higher gear like 3 or 4th or 5th. I have a 2000 Z with a 6 speed manual. The only time it knocks is when i am at low RPMs and push too hard on the gas... Is this normal ? And if it's not what do you all think I should do about it? Sorry ahead of time if this is a stupid question but thought I should ask sisnce you all know what you are doing and all....If you need to ask me any questions please do I will try to answer them.

Thanks

Is it possible that your torque arm fell out of its brace? That happened to me. It sounded nasty, like the car was really messed up. Where is the noise coming from?

I sure hope you have a torque arm on your car. If you don't that little knocking sound you hear is the least of your concerns.

Umm hows your tranny shift? My pilot bearing went out and it made noise under low rpm, but it didnt really sound like a knock. My best guess would be to take a look under the car and make sure everything is bolted down the way it should be
