We just got the engine running, has oil pressure but it is missing and squeaking up top, you can look in the oil fill hole and I see no oil splashing. Gauge shows oil pressure, lifters primed up and got quiet....but it ticks and squeaks. This is in a 99 SS, the engine was bought out of a Vette with low miles and I assembled it after it was shipped(swapped oil pans, put on the heads, lifters etc) what do I need to look for?
