yeah ive heard of them from a buddy of mine but i believe he it was a different brand that he said made them, cant remember the particular manufacturer at the moment. He said that it will allow your engine to rev over 7k, which in theory sounds good but i doubt the rod bolts would agree.

I was just wondering if its good insurance to have before I close the block up.

I remember an LS1Tech member made one (anodized purple?) which looked sweet.

I'd like to find out more about them.

thats meant more for solid roller applications,its hard to make a hyd roller jump off the lobe..Unless the valves are really loose..

looks like the same style setup that AFR makes for the gen1 & 2 small blocks, lthey call it there rev kit also. they use it on hydraulic rollers, i think the way it helps is by, being a aid to the valve spring in control the weight of the heavy hydrauilc lifter, i think it might be a good product for a big cammed high rpm motor

Yeah, it applies spring pressure to the lifter body instead of to the lifter plunger via the pushrod.
