say 2 stock car one has each cam in it. and then upgrade both cars with the same mods which one would make the most power. say heads, headers, ls6 intake

I couldn't give you a definate answer, but with those mods they'd probably make similar numbers.

Could you be more specific about the different applications that these cams are best suited for? I am jnust trying to learn more about cam selection. Thanks.

Isn't the cheater cam desinged more for the cars w/o headers and w/ strict emissions?

I'm no expert with cams, but 224 is a proven setup. I just sent payment in for a 224/228 myself.

This isn't true. The 224/224 will pull to 6400 ish depending.......The cheater is designed to work from idle to 6800 rpm, and pulls hard up top.

the lobes and VE's on the cheatr cam were chosen to work with a restrictive exhaust system, be stealthy, pass emissions, and still have great mid and top end power.

"more power" is a relative term, you've got to think in terms of area under the curve as well as peak.

the tr224 is a no brainer almost impossible to **** up combination. with the cheatr one needs to pay special attention to valvetrain stability and geometry due to the agressive nature of the lobes.
