Default Cam question.. Could I be off a tooth?

I'm wondering... If my cam were off a tooth how would this effect the power of my car? I found out months after buying my car, a dealership had replaced the crankshaft. And, if they did not line everything back up correctly, how would this effect a dyno graph? I have had this car at two different shops and on two different dynos. Both graphs, are almost exactly the same... Comparing my car to other Z06's with the same mods, up 5400 rpms the tq is up about 10 ft. lbs. and the horse power is up about 10-15 hp up to 5400 rpms. Then the graph takes a pretty sharp drop with both hp and tq. It's like the hp/tq peaks 800 rpms sooner and much lower than it should up top. If you were to look at my graph against other Z06's the graphs are identical in shape. Any opinions? Sorry, I will try to get the graph posted... Having some technical issues at the moment..

Thanks for any help or advice..

It sounds like the cam is advanced one tooth, possibally 2. Should make for a hell of a red light jumper though.

Perhaps it could be advanced one tooth, but I think two would be pushing it. I think you might have idle problems on two teeth advance. The sprocket has 44 teeth, so if you advanced it one tooth, youd have 8.18 degrees of advance. two teeth would be 16 degrees which seems like it would be too much to run well.

EDIT: Wait wait wait... double thos numbers cause I believe advance numbers are measured in crank degrees, not cam degrees.

I wouldnt be so sure its a tooth off without looking for myself. Its not easy to get it a tooth of if you halfway know what you are doing. You may have a bad spring or lifter that starts giving up at high rpm's.

Well, the car does have new pushrods and springs... The car only has 25k on the clock do you fell that a rocker could give out in that time frame? I had it at LG Motorsports and they were leaning to the cam being advanced. I was planning on replacing the cam anyways, I guess it will be sooner than later now. I just did not want to keep throwing money at it and not fix the problem. Thanks for the responses.. If anyone else has any ideas that have been mentioned please let me know.
