Default stroker pistons in stock setup??

i found a set of forged pistons for almost nothing and i was curious to know what i would have to do to run then in my motor...A friends of mine works in a machine shop....He does alot of head work and isnt too familiar with these motors....So i figured id post up here...the specs are listed below:

PIN: 2.500 X .927 ...... BORE: 3.899 ..... AVE WT: 362 GRAMS ..... CH: 1.068 ..... EDV: -2.0 ....

BTW i have no idea what the ch or edv is

There's no reason to tear the motor down just to throw in pistons unless the motor is already in need of a rebuild. You also need to know all the specs of the pistons so you will know if they will set-up right on a stock rod/stroke.

i apreciate the quick responce...its got 40 some odd thousand on it so i see your point as in not to rebuild it...im planning on running alot of nitrous on it....i fear that the stockers with ruin the block if i dont replace them before hand...oh i will try and find out more specs on them for you...any more advice?

You can find a 6.0 block for cheap. Spray your stock block till it blows, then use the stroker you built on the side to replace it. If your stocker happens to live through your spraying habits until the new block is built, then sell it to recoupe some of your costs.
