Default 6.0 LQ9 questions

Hello, I hope I don't upset anyone for being in this section but I thought this would be the best place for some answers. I have a built LQ9 6.0 in a 2001 Sierra and I keep getting a P0121 code which is the TPS sensor. I'm running a 236 duration with a 599 lift and had it retuned by PCMfor less. He thinks he has it right on the money but first off I can't start it without having my foot on the gas until it settles down in a few seconds then it idles fine. I've open the throttle blades as much as I can and even drilled the opening bigger in the throttle blade. This throttle body is off my original 4.8 and I'm not for sure if they use it on the 6.0 also (non-electric) so he thinks that might be my problem or could the TPS sensor be bad?? I was told they don't hardly go bad. Everytime I drive it though the code comes back until I clear it with my scanner. Please help, this is driving me crazy. One other thing will a FAST or BBK throttle body help??

hey, I had the same problem with my car (ls1) I put a new FAST 78 on it because I had planned on that mod anyway. But, before you jump to that test the sensor or buy a new sensor and see if that fixes it.

I was told by a tuner that making that hole bigger upsets the tps and makes it a little weird to tune but it may be the sensor just my 0.02$

not sure, don't have any experience at all with the ls motors in trucks...my 78 fit on my stock ls6 manifold though. I know the 90mm won't fit.
