LQ4 / LQ9 Valve Length vs stock 5.7L valve length???
I was curious... is the valve length different on stock 6.0L heads VS the stock 5.7L heads.
Im wondering if there is any valve train differences, variances, between the two?
I just put a set of 6.0L heads on my LS1, about to install a set of Patriot Duals, and started wondering about pushrod length... and was wondering if there are any significant differences in the stock 6.0 valves vs stock 5.7 valves?
Ive never read anything about any differences and to my knowledge they were indentical.
BTW.. I tried a search and it didnt work for me.
Thanks...

FWIW I used 4.8 heads with the Intake valves that came with the heads, and 5.7 Exhaust Valves since they were flat and the 4.8's were tulip shaped with a dish in the face, i had no problems. I'm trying to figure if i need special LS specific valves or will any old SBC 2.16 intake valve work for me...

biggest you can fit a LSx is 2.100 and that requires aftermarket seats.
Biggest on stock seats are 2.04
