I used the same block, ahd to change the crank though because the crank in 99 will not mount to 4l60. I used a 236/243 612/622 @112 Futral cam, a set of 99 LS1 5.7 heads [ deburrred and milled .050 to bring compression to 11:1], LS6 intake, stock ported T/B and I made 385 RWHP and 380 RWTQ. If you have any questions feel free to PM ME.

That doesn't sound good at all.
I had a stock 6.0 short block with stock LS1 heads milled .040" and a healthy sized cam (around G5X2 big), LS6 intake, stock TB and LT's.
It made 424rwhp/420rwtq.
But it wasn't worth the extra 100 lbs. so i am now back in an aluminunm LS1.

Kinda forgot about this post. Are you auto or 6 speed? I am auto so there is some drivetrain loss there. Also the heads I had were worth crap [Stock 99's, just milled] The car was put together with misc cheap parts just to run it and see what it would do.
