I doubt that it is what you want to do...But if it is your only means of tuning then you really have no choice. Are you trying to get all you can out of the setup? If so you might end up with something running sorta rich because they don't know your correct A/F's and timing. It will be a shot in the dark basically. Are you going with the TSP mail order?

TSP has been known to get it pretty damn dead on with big cams.

I would go for a dyno tune if you can, if not go with TSP.

Dyno tune is always a better bet all around. If you could get on the list and wait, that might be worth your while. I would say if you can't without a doubt go the TSP mail order route.

first off, run away fromthat guy who cant do your car until 3 months. that shows me nothing but incompetance and inexperience. dyno tuning takes less 4 hours if your real good. theres no way hes booked up for 3 months.

go with TSP!

A mail order tune can get you close but a dyno tune will get you right on.

I run a TSP mail order tune on my MS3 and I just left the 1/8 mile track and ran a 1.59 60' 7.182 @ 95.79 mph. I think its pretty good myself and I am like you, no one close to dynotune. However, I am pretty pleased.

Talking

What about buying EFILive and do your own tuning? That is what I did.

Jason@TSP pretty much nailed my MS3 tune through the mail first try. The drivability is unreal, and the A/F ratio and timing was right where I asked it to be. I personally couldn't ask for anymore of a mailorder tune.

I had Futral tune mine by mail and it was right on. It started right up and idled with no problems, even had excellent road manners while I put some break in miles on it before I towed it to him for a dyno tune.

You can get HP tuners for like $550? Or if you know someone with the same year car willing to go halves with you on it...I'm kinda surprised to see so many mail orders be dead **** on and no issues though.

I went thru TSP mail order tune. They got it better then it was, but I don't think it is perfect. My SES light comes on every couple of months for 1-3 days then goes off. I live in Germany and told them this so they could leave off my top speed limiter. My car stops at 155mph now.

I got a mail order tune from TSP also and car ran good..........not the best like everyone is saying cause its not dyno tunned ,but enough to get you around until you can get it dyno tunned.
