Default MS3 or F-15 cam on stock heads setup?

I am currently doing a rebuild on my bottom end, and I am going to run a much large cam than my current one. (MTI C1 Hammer Cam) I like the results I have seen from people running the MS3, but what about the Futral F-15? I want the car to make over 400hp on the motor. The car will be street driven alot. Anyone have anypreference on these two, or hell, even another cam I haven't looked into?

Thanks,

Bob

Both the MS3 and F15 should make 400 rwhp easily with a M6 and a good tune. My car with an M6, bolt-ons, and MS3 made 401 rwhp/364 rwtq through a 9" w/ 4.11s and 315s on the back. The F15 might show a little more power down low, but the MS3 will show more power up top. You need to PM Gomer, and ask him more about it. He has run both the F15 and MS3 in his car. I personally like the MS3 better than the F15. You'll probably want 4.10s in the rear if you drive a car with either of these cams on the street a lot.

I have 4.10s in the car already. I run on the street alot and drive the car almost everywhere except for crummy weather.. Can I ask why the f15 would make more power down low and vice versa on the ms3?

I just recently put the ms3 in my car and I love it. I have 410 gears, in a 12 bolt and I put down 410-413 rwhp, and about 370 tq.

I remember gomer commenting that he thought it would work much better with a different LSA or ICL. Cant remember the details though.

I definiitly vote MS3 all the way. This cam makes awesome power up top and works well with the stock heads.

I love reading these MS3 posts! UPS tracking says mine should arrive tomorrow. And the install w/ 4.10s will happen on Sunday. Dyno tune shortly after. Can't wait! Of course, now I'm going to have to get 17x11s on the rear w/ 315s.
