Are reverse split cams not good to use with nitrous?

A traditional split is superior to reverse split when using nitrous, however I have had a few friends that had a reverse and sprayed it with great results.

228/224 I believe it was a TR cam so let me look CORRECTION - Thunder Racing Custom "Reverse Split" Camshaft - 227/224 .569/.563 114 LSA . With headers and N20 he was in the 11s.

I would say get whatever cam you want. Remember that you will be running cam only 95% of the time so get a cam you will be happy with without the N2O. Good luck with it. I will be running a 233/239 with spray. I had a TR 224 in my last car and had great results on and off the spray. I used to run at Silver Dollar all the time.

Yeah, I will be in GA Apr - May so I will be at Silver Dollar any chance I get. I will be in the SOM Z of course.

Let me ask, what is your end goal with the cam swap? Is your car a daily driver?

let me know if you are going to do your cam swap while I am in GA, I have done 6 swaps myself.

For a minute there I thought you wanted 425hp in your Honda....

You should have no problem getting those RWHP numbers especially if you get heads as well. I have seen 425+RWHP on cam only cars quite often. I think around 450RWHP is the most I have seen cam only.

How do you like your KOOKS????

Oh that clearance. You can clay the pistons? There are some long threads about it, but I am no expert on PTV. I would hate to give you bad info.
