Default 11.2-1 OK with 93 pump gas? P/V Clear?

Dart 205's on the way . I am looking to mill them .020, use GM MLS gaskets and install the F14. I have been told that the compression ratio will be close to 11.2-1. Will 93 octane pump gas be OK with this set-up?
One more question, will piston to valve clearence be an issue? Thanks

With proper tune, 11.2 is fine.
Instead of milling them use a thinner gasket like .040 to increase SCR (but you better your quench, which is a + for knock control)

PTV will have to be measured

Yes you can easily run that compression on 93 I believe alot has to do with the tune on how high you can go with the SCR on pump gas. Plus our motors are aluminum so they dissapate heat faster allowing you to run more compression. As far as the PtoV clearance I'm not positive on that but I'm sure someone will post up.

find your dcr, that will have more of a direct correlation to what octane you can run.

Dynamic compression ratio.....

8.8+ is pushing it for pump gas and normal timing....

with the f14 11:2 should be no problem with a decent tune.

Anyone got any formulas for figuring out DCR and SCR using gasket thickness and what not ?

You can find a SCR/DCR Excel spreadsheet in JRP's cam guide (does other cool things too).

I run 12.75:1 on 93 at 28 degrees with no problems. But, I have a rather huge cam and .030" quench.
