ok, ok... how much hp does the f-body ls1 come with stock? Ok, well im just confused as hell. I just read a post with someone saying that f-bodies average 300 rwhp and 350 bhp? is this true? cause all along ive been thinking that ls1's come with 305-325 bhp.... I just wanna get my facts straight

The ls1's in the Fbody's were underrated so that they didn't look like they were as close to the vette as they actually were.
I've seen stock Fbod's put down anywhere b/w 285-310 from the factory (depending on years, and whether or not its a "freak").
Mine put down 323 w/ just a lid and catback.

I have watched a bunch of stock or near stock LS1 fbodies spin the rollers on a chassis dyno to the tune of around 300rwhp, some more. 350hp at the motor is a good stock estimate.

If GM told you that you could get the same 350 HP in a $24K Z28, the same 350 HP in a $30K SS or WS6, and the same 350 HP in a $45K vette, I doubt they would have sold as many of the higher models.
