Default heads for a 6.0

which of the stock heads would be the best choice on a budget 6.0 builup. i'm looking at dropping the motor into a fox body. adding the edelbrock carburated intake and a nice sized cam. would ls1 or 5.3 heads be a better choice over the stock 6.0 heads? what kind of power would this setup make with say a trex or magic stick sized cam.

5.3, ls1, or ls6 heads are gonna shroud the 4.000 cylinder. I'm running the stock 317 heads from a lq9 6.0.

Weight and I heard they don't flow as well.

Also, Whitt1 is correct. The iron headed version has a wider crank flange designed to be bolted up to the 4L80. It will not bolt directly up to a 4L60 if you plan on using that.
