Default MTI 2E heads, valve guide/seals problem

I was gonna sell these but after I got them off I noticed that 6 of the 8 exhaust runners had alot of oil tracking in them. Not like burned oil, I mean so much oil that it was wet and the trail was keeping any carbon from building up in there where the oil trail was. These heads had less than 6K miles on them and I was wondering why that might happen. The car was def going through oil and smoking on hard acceleration and high RPM deceleration. I was thinking that maybe when they were assembled the guy may have put the seals backwards. Like how they are marked INT EXH and switched them accidentally and the heat on the exh valves burned them up. I really cant think of any other reason for suck low mile good heads to be leaking that much oil through the guides.

cold be bad guides or seals or both as you suspect. Id contact MTI, they always stand behind the product.... One question though did you use thread sealer on the rocker bolts???

yes, I used the Loctite Blue, then 22ft/lbs....rotated engine 180*, rechecked, rotated 90* rechecked. Is there a problem with using the blue stuff on there? I used it on my car adn my buddys, on 2 head swaps each car, these were the only heads burning oil like that.
thanks
