Default U/d Pulley Seal Leaks??

I INSTALLED A SLP U/D PULLEY & NEW CRANK SEAL & IT IS LEAKING NOW.I HAD NO PROBLEMS BEFORE.WHAT GIVES??????ALL HELP WILL BE GREAT!!!WILL A SLEEVE ON THE BALANCER HELP?THANKS WANTSUM410 ,72SS CAMARO LS1 6SPD,MS3,3"X FLOWS,4:11'S,LS6 INTAKE,P&P TB.

GM actually makes a special tool made to center the seal on the crank pulley. The only way to do it w/o the tool is to put the crank pulley on and tighten the crank bolt BEFORE you tighten the timing cover bolts. Once the crank pulley is in place and tight, center your timing cover seal over the crank pulley, then slowly tighten the bottom bolts and work your way up.
