Default Ms3????

Ive been hearing alot of good things about the MS3 cam that TSP sells and am wondering what are the specs on it??? and how much HP does that cam alone with a full exhaust produce??? anyone recommend a different cam thats better than the MS3, im looking for a loud lopey cam that gives alot of HP and sounds bad ***.

Well the MS3 would pretty much be that cam. There is always the TREX but that is a little more radical and would need ALOT of tuning. There are other cams out there though that compare to the MS3...F15, G5X4, and some others. Just use the search button and you will get loads of results on that and all the other cams. Biggest thing though is to do ALOT of research before deciding which cam is best for you, i.e. drivability, power curve, etc. But the MS3 is a great cam, one that many have chosen and I will be installing in a couple months.

I have it and have found no flaw other than having to go to a bigger converter. It took my N/A times on and 1/8 mile track from 7.50 with a 1.60 60", best with stock cam to 7.18 @ 95.72 mph with a 1.58 60" with the MS3. I dont have any dyno numbers yet but I hope that helps. All my mods are in sig.

I daily drive this cam and its wonderful. I love it! The specs are 237/242 .603/.609 113. It behaves pretty well after a good tune.

What if you have a manual and are on the highway a lot?

You would need to go 4.10's and it seems like it would totally botch your gas mileage and driving around town sounds like it could be a chore?

I have 4.10s and a 12 bolt in my car. The car put down 413/380 with pretty much full bolt ons and through slp long tubes with true duals. As far as driving around town, I can run 40 mph in 6th gear at about 1k rpms.

Gas mileage will not be greatly affected. You can put the car in 6th whenever you want. The only that will hurt you MPG will be your right foot constantly on the gas because ur car is gonna pull like a sumbitch and sound incredible!

Im driving this cam with a set of ls6 ported heads right now without a tune. Most of my mileage is city driving. The cam behaves pretty damn good without a tune. I went from about 230 miles a tank city driving to about 200 after the cam, and of course thats with driving the **** out of the car.

That doesn't sound too bad. I want the cam just being sure that I won't regret it later since I drive the car about as much as my "daily driver".

yeah i see it just like orangepeel and 35thls1ss19, if you get a cam might aswell get a big one b/c your getting a cam for power and you know for sure the MS3 will give you that power as proven on texas speeds website with stock heads made 55+ horsepower from the MS3 alone.
