Default Vacuum pumps: final leg...

Looks like everything is heading inbound. We got the fittings today and the valve covers should be a day behind. Vacuum pumps should be here the first part of next week. I never knew how big these fittings were until I had them in my hands... They are HUGE.

Are you gonna use the Moroso pump or what? How much is it all gonna cost you complete? Also, what bracket are you gonna use for the pump?

Don't forget a relief valve. Also, do not mount the suction side fitting on top of the valve cover. It needs to come off the front. You can see the relief valve on the driver's side valve cover. What ring set are you running?

So are you running a -12 from each valvecover, or just one. I see what looks like 4 fittings to weld for 2 cars...but two could be for a catch-can. When you say regulated, are you gonna run a relief-valve-type-thing on a valvecover?

LOnSLO,
The 4 vane pump has an adjustable relief valve built in. The 3 vane pump will use an external adjustable relief valve inline. Both motors are setup with Diamond standard 3.905 LS1 rings.

RyanJ,
The valve covers are coming from APS and both have -12 bungs already welded in. The 4 -12 fittings are for 2 catch cans. All of the parts are in raw fabricated form and still need to be anodized next week.

Using a 1.5, 1.5, 3.0 standard tension ring set, I doubt you will have any increase in power (if that's what you're after.) I would keep vacuum down to around 8 to 10 inches.
